Starting Jule 2025, all VOLTER CNC routers are equipped with a new and improved Brush foot.

The key upgrade in this version is the ability to adjust the brush position according to the thickness of the processed material. This is particularly useful when using automatic tool changers with tools of varying lengths — the brush maintains the correct position relative to the material surface, ensuring efficient chip removal.

The new Brush Foot is controlled via the machine’s controller and operated by pneumatic cylinders for lifting and lowering. The operator can control the unit manually through the control panel or activate the automatic mode. In automatic mode, the Brush foot lowers when the spindle starts and raises when it stops.

With its improved design, the new Brush foot significantly enhances chip collection during the processing of aluminum, wood, plastics, and composite panels.
